How often should I get a Facial?

Updated: Sep 24, 2020

Sᴋɪɴᴄᴀʀᴇ ᴄʟɪᴇɴᴛs ᴀsᴋ ᴜs ᴛʜɪs ᴀʟʟ ᴛʜᴇ ᴛɪᴍᴇ: Hᴏᴡ ᴏfᴛᴇɴ sʜᴏᴜʟᴅ I ʙᴇ ɢᴇᴛᴛɪɴɢ Fᴀᴄɪᴀʟs?

The long answer...

I like to compare this to dental work. Your dentist will tell you that you'll need to visit less often if you're taking care of your teeth at home with daily brushing and flossing. If you don't brush or floss daily, you'll likely have dental issues and need to visit the dentist more often. If you take good care of your teeth at home, you'll go less often. You can't rely on your 6-month cleaning and not brush daily.

And just like exercise - working out with a trainer once a month isn't going to get you in shape. 𝙄𝙩 𝙩𝙖𝙠𝙚𝙨 𝙙𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙮 𝙚𝙛𝙛𝙤𝙧𝙩. ͏ Sᴋɪɴᴄᴀʀᴇ ɪs ᴛʜᴇ sᴀᴍᴇ! Your skin is your largest organ, and is constantly responding to its environment and internal nutrition. I help balance your skin's response to both through skincare - that includes facials (like working out with a trainer / getting a deep cleaning at your dentist's office), and recommending at-home products to use daily (like exercising regularly / brushing your teeth daily). So, if you think one facial is all you need, that won't get you to where you want to be. You have to work at it at home too with specific products that are going to address your skin's issues as well.

🅦🅗🅔🅡🅔 🅣🅞 🅢🅣🅐🅡🅣? If you're new to skincare, we recommend coming in for a 60-minute Signature Reverie Facial . It's the perfect first-timer's facial: customized and nourishing, and allows us to take a close look at your skin, find out what changes you'd like to see, give you a facial treatment and recommend a few products to start off with at home. We will want to see you for your next skin treatment 3-6 weeks later. At that facial, we will assess again and see what progress has been made with your homecare regimen. After your initial facial, we may change skincare modalities according to your skin's response.
